Default Spartan Quark with JR 9503 Help needed

Can anyone tell me what way i should setup my radio to use with this gyro? I'm using the AUX-2 channel for gain, so should i use the rudder dual rate switch to manually change from Rate to AVCS mode, or the gyro sense menu set to auto and use the Idle up switch. Also what would be a starting gain in the TX for the two.

I use the gear switch. for me, my gain is at 27 using end points. The actual number is not as import as the strength of the hold in flight.

You are pointing that AVCS mode value is at 27%. What value are you using for rate mode?
