Take a look here

Currently I no longer use the capacitors on input and output that are described in the post.

Default MH

So, moved the BL 3-in1 and the main and rear motors to a MH Carbon frame. Kept the MCPX servos on temporarily, installed a 3mm solid boom with Dylan's new mount. I also kept the MCPX shaft, swash and blades. Flies like a dream. I have a new X frame coming today and will move everything over including the BL servos (turned around) and a BL X swash from MH. Also gonna use 130X KBDD's that have been cut down. Very pleased so far. I'll report when I have everything moved over later today or tomorrow.

No surprises with BlHeli tail. Simply rock solid!
Thanks again to Steffen, Achim, Dylan and all the BlHeli staff.

Thank you bro! Can't wait for my stock tail to go out. Thoughts on my end. The gain settings do nothing to fix the tail wag. The stock tail rotor seems to cause wag and the KBDD stops the wag. Use Elmer glue to put it on, to make sure it stays or you will spin out of control.

The Astroid mCP X MH brackets don't hold up in a good crash. I lawn missled mine today and snapped both sides. Can we get something thicker Dylan? Please!!!!

Something has to give in a crash, side plates are cheaper than broken off screws in the frame.

And BTW, XP-7A Fast 9.4 Tail ~ HP03T 4000Kv ~ RRC 65mm prop = Perfect 2S tail No wag, passes the acid test, feels just like a V1 1S 9000KV XP-3A combo.

What does your main board weigh with the XP-3A and regulator attached?

WOW that tail is LOCKED! Will the stock main board take this motor without anything extra?

The tail will never be that locked with the stock tail ESC on the board. You NEED to run a BLheli flashed ESC to have a good brushless tail on a micro.

And the stock tail ESC will not run the HP03T.

I can do basic soldering (most of the time), but dont have the skill to build one of those stepping modules for the brushless tail. Is there one out there somewhere that is essentially "solder and play" that will work in this application?

I'm about two seconds away from pulling the trigger on one of these birds as I have a HP05 on my shelf that I dont fly much that has a Microheli X frame and X swash. A 1s brushless tail would be icing on the cake.

The soldering for the 2S tail is not so hard, just like installing an XP-7a on an mcpx, except you have to piggyback 3 small resistors onto the esc.
