Default Do I need attitude control for new 450l ?

Hi, I have been flying a blade 230s for about 3 months or so, and I have a new Trex 450l ready to maiden. Basic microbeast plus . Do I need the upgrade attitude control ? I can't do acrobatics yet, just circuits and nose in,out and both sides hovering. I rely on 230s bailout or stability mode regularly. Any input/opinion is appreciated. Thanks

How much is the upgrade? I've never run beastx but I do run an ikon with a rescue function. You really don't want to fly in these modes but use them as a safety net. Could easily pay for itself if you avoid a few crashes. Remember, it's not foolproof, you have to be quick to hit the switch.

It cost about one hundred dollars. I think it would be money well spent as trex 450l seems èxpensive to crash !

Its not really expensive compared to larger helis where one crash avoided have paid off the rescue, but you'll break even after a few crashes, so yes a rescue might pay itself off pretty quick...
