I had a trex 700 dfc up for sale or trade .He offered me a goblin 500 sport we texted,sent pics and even talked on the phone ,I sent my heli out he said he was sending his out gave me the tracking number and I recieved a small box with some sort of phone Holder in it ,now he blocked me on facebook won't answer calls or reply to texts I'm very sad someone would do this to me especially when I have done so many deals with so many great people here on helifreak. His name is Gamaliel rosado lives in Norwich ct if anyone could help please do I don't know what to do about this anymore.

You have an address,and a name and I'm sure email/PM correspondences. Print those, or screen shot them and call the local police office. That's fraud. Get the authorities involved.

People need to stop with this trading business. 90% of the scams I read about here are trades. I never understood wanting to trade but if you have to, sell each other the heli for the same price using paypal.

Crazy! I'm so very sorry this happened to you, and I sincerely hope you can get some recourse out of it.

I guess I dodged a bullet on this guy. He actually reached out to me with TWO different trade deals at completely different times, and the second time he didn't even realize he had reached out to me already.

He responded to some Fat Shark Dominator V2's that I was selling, saying he would do a straight trade (which made NO sense to me to begin with considering the value). I looked at some pictures he texted me, and I decided that it was too crazy of a deal, but if he wanted to do it...I would go ahead and do it with the stipulation that he shipped first, and I would send out my stuff once I received his. I just got shafted on my own trade deal (luckily I got my stuff back), so I wasn't going to take any chances this time. When I told him that, he said "I don't do that I rather both ship at the same time." Then, after I told him that it wouldn't make sense for me to ship based on the fact that he has ONE feedback, and that I have nothing to go off of as far as a reputation for him he said "Am sorry I did it once and I end up losing my item.".

So CLEARLY he was hoping I would ship my stuff out to him, much like you did to him. After that run-in, he reached out to me to trade for a charger I have, but I had no interest in what he was offering in that deal. So he's on the hunt for sure....BUYER BEWARE.

Cops aren't gonna help you.. They're too busy writing tickets and taking money from the working class..It's 2016 and cops are on the side of the criminal and not the victims..
Even if you file a complaint.. You have to fly there and testify..
Your best bet is to spread his info to the public.. Then find someone in his town that can go pay him a visit.. Judging from his name.. He was never tought AMERICAN culture..

If I recall .. Nyxtel88 drove to a heli theifs house in New Rochelle New York and got a guys 700 heli back for him without a physical altercation.. I don't see anything about getting physical.. These type of guys fold like a cheap beach chair when confronted face to face.

What steps have you taken to get a result?
Right now he has no negative rating.
Have you tried contacting the Norwich, CT. Police? Maybe they'll send someone over to talk to him, Postal fraud across state lines.
Maybe you should request Helifreak ban him.
I guess you have to decide what your time and effort are worth compared to the cost of theft.
Sorry we don't have an easy solution to suggest.
