I built my f6 on 6s 890 hk3 i thought about making it 12s as i now have a pritos 500 using 3200-3300 6s
My question is wich motor should i use i sorta dont like the extra maintance if the scorpion was looking for reaslitic options for a potential sport machine

Hi,

I use scorpion 4035-530kv HK. Works good for me on 12S GET 7 MINS flight time.only thing about this motors they get hot!

For a good price wise try 5055-530kv savoa motors. green color one's. I want to try that too. Might still do! I hear they run a little cooler cause of built fan in motor.

I'm using the KDE 600XF-520 in mine and its a bear of a motor. Very low maintenance and extremely efficient and powerful. I use the 12 tooth pinion and govern it at 1950, 2050 and if I'm feeling energetic 2150.

I used scorpion 4035-500 with great results. Then moved to KDE 600xf, and this thing is a rocket!
