Default question about the dampeners

A couple questions.
I notice at the end of every flight I have a pretty bad head wobble. I have been having issues with this right from day one.
Now before the flight the feathering shaft is very tight in the dampeners, I cant do anymovement.
Now about halfway through my flight the heli starts to develope a head shake, when I land the heli I have play in the feathering shaft.
I let it sit the play goes away ect ect.

I did not have them properly grease for the first 5 flights and I was told to use tri-flow after that which I currently am using.

What would be the best oil/grease for the dampeners.
Also is this normal for warn out dampeners

I have ordered a complete new head so eventually I will get this.

A few things I've noticed that can cause the head to wobble. Sometimes the blades get stiff in the grips during a flight; something to check. Also the main rotor gain on the X7 needs to be run lower than other helicopters. For example I run my X5 & X7 at 70 main rotor gain on the VBar. Real hard dampening will cause wobble with some FBL units. If you shim the feathering shaft right, the washers will preload the dampener a bit. If you have a bunch of play after a flight, you may need to use the slightly thicker shims.

Up and down like if you rocked the blades?

Once of the things you shim for is the dampener preload. You want it as tight as possible without causing the main grips to bind (or have a lot of drag). Usually after a few flights everything settles. When I first flew mine, I had a main, wobble and noticed that I needed to change out the shims for thicker ones as well as lower the main gain. I did both and the wobble was gone.

That may or may not be your issue; just passing on my experience.

yah I can rock the blades up and down a bit but only after a flight.
I will try adding a shim and see what happens, then if that doesnt work, well my order should be in soon and ill try changing the dampeners.

What grease do you use for the dampeners

I use red Triflow gear grease; just enough to keep things from sticking.
