6HV Battery Compatibility
Following is a list of confirmed batteries that will fit in the 6HV with the canopy on. Thought I would try and make a neat and tidy list as the last topic to do this ended up needing the viewer to search and read through posts, hopefully will be able to make choosing and purchasing batteries easier. If there is anything you would like added (or changed if I have made a mistake) just post with that Brand, Capacity, Discharge Rate and Frames, and I will add to the list.
6HV Fly Bar Frames (All packs listed here will also work with 6HV FBL Frames and 6HV V2 Frames)
6HV FBL Frames Only (All batteries that are listed for the 6HV Fly Bar Frames will also work with 6HV FBL Frames)
6HV V2 Frame Only (All batteries that are listed for the 6HV Fly Bar Frames and the 6HV FBL Frames will also work with 6HV V2 Frames)

Fantastic resource, Andrew! I'm just sorry I don't have anything to add.

The Voltz 3300 35C will also fit the flybar frames with room to spare. You have them down as fitting the FBL frame only.

Thanks mates. Also, I've not heard any mention of CG. is there room with Nano Tech 3000's to tweak for CG? I was thinking how nice it is once again to have an airfram unaffected by consumption of a pound of fuel from start to finish of a flight. I ran a rather big 3800 LiFe pack on my Fury 55 to get it right when the tank is half full.

This is for FBL Frame, 6s 3000 40c zippy, 6s 3000 40c turnigy, 6s 3000 nano techs, 6s 3300 25c nano techs, these will all fit.

The 3000 25C Nano-Techs are longer but lighter than the 2650 30C Turnigys. There's certainly nothing wrong with the 2650s and it's hard to beat the price ($29 apiece plus shipping).

I do have te FBL model with "notched" frames. Where is the limitation in pack size? Length - nose, or width?

The maximum dimensions are almost impossible to calculate (unless somone here is good with three dimensional conics).
This is because as the length on the battery pack changes, the allowed height/width of the pack changes as the shape of the canopy curves down. So for a longer pack it will need to be not so tall and/or fat and for a shorter pack it can be taller and/or fatter.

Andrew hit the nail on the head. I asked the same question before I got my 6HV and nobody could give me a definitive answer.
For some packs, they may fit when turned one way and not fit when turned 90 degrees.
