Default Flew my SE for the first time today!

Well I got my SE used from someone who works at my LHS....

Today I finally had everything I needed, and I put 4 flights on the SE.....

I LOVE THIS HELI!!!

It is so smoooooooth and crisp. The only other heli I have flown in real life is a Shuttle, so the rex just feels a thousand times better in the air

Only question I have is: I am getting a very slight, intermittent twitch in the tail. Its not a wag, so gyro gain is out, right? It will just twitch out of place for a second and then its over.

The tail is setup with a 401/9650.

Also, I have the gain turned up as high as it will go without wagging(71% on my JR 6102) and the tail will move to the right on collective pumps. Is there anything I can do to solve this?

Thanks guys

Congrats with your first flight!

The tail twitch you're experiencing could come from a couple things:
Maybe the belt is to tight. Headspeed high enough? Is the tail slider moving freely and with slop?
What servo do you have on the tail?

Just some things to consider if you haven't already.

Sounds like you might need to bump your headspeed up a bit to hold the tail better.

My belt does seem to be a bit on the tight side. I'm running a 9650 on the tail. And yes, my headspeed is currently pretty low(I'm just hovering still).

Also... the Idler wheel is still on the tail assembly.... Should I remove this? It looks like I have to take the whole tail apart to do so... am I right?

Thanks

You can remove it, but it generally does not give you the problems you're experiencing.
