Default Replacement Swash

What else are people using besides the Compass swash?

The elevator ball snapped off on mine and is not coming out. Prostar is out of stock on the compass swash.

That's a good question. I don't know. Can you post a detailed picture so perhaps we can offer suggestions on how to extract the broken part?

Default Replacement Swash

I already mangled the swash trying to get it out. The swash needs replacing.

I would think most smashes that work with a 10mm main shaft would work?

Remember if it's a Chronos, the diameter is different!

Did you try shop-compassmodel.com? They might have something in stock.

I also occasionally buy from rc711.com but then you have to wait for international shipping.

Shop compass had some but I was trying to avoid the $20 in shipping and waiting for it. A friend I fly with has a swash from his Trex 600 I might try. Same size main shaft so it might work.

Is it a Chronos? If so you need a swash for a 14mm mainshaft... Which the t-rex 600 does not have. I think... think... that the Goblin 700 may have a 14mm mainshaft.

Edit: just checked the Goblin 700 swash is for a 12mm mainshaft...

If it's a Chronos, you may have try something like a Mikado swash. In the end, it's what you want to spend vs your need to fly. I'd spend the extra on shipping, but that's just me, your situation may be different.

Default Replacement Swash

It's a 7HV. so the shaft is 10mm

Eventually I plan on upgrading it to chronus but for now i want to keep it as is. So if I can get by with a cheaper swash for now I would prefer that. I only fly sport so it's not getting smacked around hard.

i suggest tapping that out and using a bigger elevator swash anti rotation pin....such as the gaui x5 elevator pin. i had this happen to me years ago on the 7hv swash with the 2mm thread.....or tapping to use the 2.5mm compass pin
