I was able to find the mcp 1253-33 chip over at digikey but I need some help with the capacitors. what part number or size did you use.

I don't have the part #'s here as I purchased them from my local electronics store. These should work though:

Success!!!
Great walk-thu all worked minus the throttle, but I figure its the esc and not the mod. Servos worked and there is power getting to the esc.

You may need to program your throttle limits to your ESC. Glad to hear it worked out for you!!

It should ... the regulator is what does the job so as long as you have the proper knowledge, it's doable.
