Default AR7300BX questions

Is the BeastX usb adapter the same as the AR7300BX adapter (SPMA3030?
Will it work with Windows 10?
Are there any updates for the 7300?
Thanks.

Hi I have the AR7300BX installed on my 550X

There is a new free update 4.0.14 available on StudioX (beastx software), It give you nitro governor mode.

You can use SPMA3030 or Beastx usb2sys cable for the update, and it works perfectly on Windows 10.

:-)

I tried to download StudioX, but for some reason it didn't seem to be download properly. I don't know much about computers unfortunately.

Maybe a clearer description of the problem you are facing would help

I'll try.
Went to the BeastX site, clicked on Downloads.
Downloaded the 2.19 installer, seemed OK.
Is it supposed to have .eve on the end or is that the completed download?
Plugging in the usb completes the download right?
Plugged in the usb and don't see any indication it's plugged in.
I don't know if I have to go to the Device Manager?

OK.
Checked the Device Manager again, it looks like I have the usb there.
Does the BeastX need to be plugged in and powered up to complete the download?

Are you trying to use a micro beast usb cable?

There is a different cable for the AR7200 and 7300.

The beastX usb should work on the Spektrum also.

I bought th BX usb years ago and works perfectly on the Plus. StudioX can be installed without the need of a usb and the BeastX/Spektrum has to be powered up for StudioX to recognize.

Furtermore to receive updates on firmware the unit needs to be registered.

I don't see mentioned that you ran the installer program that you downloaded. The download is a .exe file which means it is an "EXEcutable" file. Once you've completed the download you then need to run this program to install the StudioX software on your machine. Finally, after installing you then run the software from the icon (either in your start menu or possibly on your desktop) and then when you plug in your BeastX controller to the USB it should show up in the StudioX console on your screen.

Hope that helps,

Highspeed

When I downloaded the program (several times), I did try to run it but it didn't seem to run right. I didn't get an "accept" screen. Shouldn't I get that? Also I see no icon on the task bar or desktop. When I bought my laptop it had Win 8.1. I downloaded Win 10 myself and everything seems to work ok.
