Hi

Have completely enjoyed the last 6 weeks flying my new Nano in the living room and am progressing quite nicely.

But it has a trait that puzzles me. Almost every flight some time during it does what I can only describe as a "convulsion"

It does a pronounced shake and then everything is back to normal.

Has that been described before by anyone and is that just part of the bird? Or is mine sick?

I had a similar problem a while ago. I couldn't seem to figure it out until I was changing out the frame one day. While doing an inspection of the servos I found some of the teeth on the gears where a bit smooshed over. This would cause the servo to stick until an input that took it past the messed up gear. I took an xacto knife to clean the edges of the teeth up. This seems to have solved most of the problems with what i believe you are describing. Hope this helps.

Wet dog syndrome. Time to service a few parts I'd say. I'd check the fs first to do so you will have to take the head apart so can check the head, dampeners and blade grips for wear or cracks. Swash might need checking that the arms arnt bent or cracked I'm sure the bearings in main blade grips and swash as well as main bearings could do with an oil after 6 weeks. Play in the main bearings might also cause this. Another thing that can cause this is the servos getting dirty so cleaning them is essential. Switch cleaner or isopropanol works great.

it's really not something new but.....been there all along from day 1. I am really asking is that something that is in the Nano or only in mine?

And...maybe I was embellishing a bit, it's more like a sudden quick twitch for just a split second and also not all the time, maybe once in the length of a pack.

This is a known problem with the 3in1. This thread mentions it was reported when the CPS was released.

It happens on mine almost every flight.

it's exactly as described. Sooooo.......is there a remedy or do I just live with it as a acceptable quirk?
