Default Shuddering with negative collective

So I noticed a large bit of vibration when I would give some negative collective when trying to bring my 130x down (no 3d, just standard circuit flying). Any thoughts on this? I didn't see any wear on the gear after a 4 minute flight and was wondering if this was something that I could easily resolve.

Note, this isn't the tail that's shuddering, it's the whole body.

Have you changed the O-rings on the swash and head assembly with the canopy grommets?

Default Hey

I find the canopy grommets are too thick. I cut some fuel line tubing and no more shakes.

Canopy grommets worked for me, but thanks for your post. Fuel tubing makes sense, is cheap and I would think last longer (less brittle) than the grommets...

Yep, that fixed it! Man this thing flies sweet! I'm 4 flights in and it's really starting to break in (or more it's me relaxing with it!). I'm going to take it out to a field later today and open it up.

I added half a canopy grommet to the existing rubber bushing on each blade grip and it cured half my shudder, the other half was due to the umbrella gear not being pushed all the way up on the main shaft, there was about 1/16" of play on there snd it made for an aweful shudder, even managed to pull the ball end off a blade grip partially during flight so check this often as it appears the umbrella gear can sink down the shaft a little.

Also noticed a small air bubble in the plastic for the ball on the main blade grip. So that probably contributed too.
