Default FM Control unit hot

My control unit gets very warm after being on just a few min. Is this normal or do I have a bad unit?

The usual reason for this is that the servo's have been plugged in the wrong way, it will tollerate this for a while but to long and it will be damaged.
Normally FM stays cool. How are you powering it, are you shure the voltage is ok.
