Default 550L stock servo arm replacement

Hi,
Does anyone know if the HSP61009 fits the BL815H? The stock metal servo arm worries me a lot in crash.

No reason they shouldn't fit. Both are futaba splined. If you're looking for something in the middle, try the SAB plastic/carbon arms. They seem really robust but people say they break in crashes. I haven't crashed mine yet but word is they break in a crash.

I highly recommend the Secraft metal arms. They have a cutout that allows the arm to deform in a crash. It works well, they have been thoroughly tested by me . They are also cheaper than the Align metal arms. They fit tightly so I also recommend the Secraft arm removal tool.

Yes, the idea it to break it in crashes.

I think it's safer to use plastic arms.

Deformation or breakage serve the same purpose, to absorb energy that would normally be transferred to the servo. I don't know that plastic would necessarily be any safer than a metal arm that is designed to collapse.
