I now have everything for the build.... just waiting on the kit. Did anyone notice how little the swash plate was moving when Henry was twisting the flybar cage? WOW!!

Why did you have to do that to me Will?

I NEED this heli in my hanger.

Yes that is a 3rd canopy pin but it has chnged locations since then it has been moved closer to landing gear now

As for an Outrage Blade holder yes one has been designed and will be made

Ade,

What pinion are you running on that motor?

Ade, besides the pinion, What: 1)+/- pitch 2)Cyclic pitch 3) head settings. That roll rate is crazy fast! Thanks. Matt

I think its 11t pinion, +/- 13degs of collective, not sure on the cyclic. Head settings are on the lowest flybar mixer ratio/max swash input and max flybar twist with the stock paddles on the front hole.

the biggest change has been the blades which are SAB red devils. It transformed the model, lightening fast cyclics and collective compared to the maniacs that were on there. It needed a bit more expo on it tho which is why it was a little higher than it normally is :-)

it's a 14T pinion, +/- 13 degrees pitch, it's on the fastest head settings for cyclic but not on the paddles, those are on the slower settings.

Ash, Ade;

try the advanced setup Charley has in the manual, Steven flew 2 batteries 6S 5000 last weekend and it was windy as all getup 30+mph, stock paddles with the 300mm flybar. This is with the Scorpion 4020-1039 on a 12T pinion, all I can say is holly it was fast.

I'll have a look at that later, I'm putting the 4020-1390 back in it as I prefer that to the 4025. I've also haven't tried the 4020 with the Revlock, so that will be interesting.

The advanced settings recommendation isnt the fastest possible settings on the head, any reason why you wouldn't want all the fastest settings on the head ?

because the fastest settings introduce a lot of variables to the head changing flybar input and delta angle. Whilst they may be faster they may not be the best feel or give the most predictable flight characteristics.

Exactly! That's why I don't run the fastest head setting on my G5. It simply doesn't feel like I want or suit my flying style.
