Does anyone know if this has come up in the German TDR II forums?

TP has been doing this for long time, It is 1 pack with very short "Series" connector in front of pack. I tape it to front of batt with packaging tape . it's as if inside shrink wrap. No need to ever disconnect. Single charge /bal. lead on newer style packs. Overall with jump lead taped, Pack length is 170mm

Per the manual, that is 10mm too long. Have you tried fitting them into the TDR II?

10 mm is definitely too long

The criterium is a combination of length AND heigth AND brand/type of ESC.

That is a generous measure, I did test fit on tray. The series lead can be moved toward top of pack so it clears front of tray

Actual dimensions are, 155/54/45.
And 806 gr. This is the Magna 70c
The lightening 55c are a slight bit smaller at 50mm instead of 54

Hey guys,

For those of you looking for OptiPower 4400 7S packs. Experience RC finally got some in stock. I just ordered 4. Their supplies are limited and they're running a 10 percent off Mother's Day sale:

Updating an old thread. I received six pulse 4500mAh 7s 45c today for my Goblin BT and wanted to see if they will fit in the TDR2. I've been using optipower 4400mAh and wanted to buy lighter packs. As you can see from the pictures the pulse fits fine in the tray and I don't have to force the canopy to close.
The optipower are 835 to 840gm while the pulse 750gm.

Pulse 4500MAh 7s fit perfect. I just received mine. Installed connectors and they're in place. Don't bother canopy at all.

They may be a little light for CG. You may have add a bit of weight to the front to get good balance.

The batteries can fit perfectly and still leave the TDR2 tail heavy. You still might need a bit of weight at the nose of your heli to get it to balance since you can't shift the batteries for and aft like you can on the original TDR.

Yep. I believe I need around 3 ozs for good balance.
