It's a goal, but I have to say flying the TDR2/Neo is a confidence inspiring combination. I was putting it into dives on my second flight at 2100 rpm and full pitch at 13 degrees on the 3rd flight and felt VERY comfortable. No jitters the heli was perfectly planted!

I'm hoping to get up to 2300 rpm and 15 degrees of pitch this fall, but I'm not going to go there until I feel like I can do 2100 rpm a 13 degrees pitch very consistently. Otherwise I'm just putting stress on the heli and batteries for no reason.

Ideally by next summer I'll be able to compete in Novice at 2400-2500 rpm and 15-16 degrees pitch. We will see how much practice I can get.

ughh, crashed.
On inspection the front right Hitec D945TW is not operating correctly.

Even on the ground it started tilting ever so slightly to the left, and I thought no probs, i'll level it, and continued to increase throttle.

Left the ground, couldn't level and it took off sideways, so I hit throttle hold.

Only my self to blame as I moved all the controls before take off, but did not pay close attention to all of the travels.

So most peeved about damaging the beautiful canopy, apart from that Main blades, 2 links and of course the servo.... total £220

Pretty happy with that as at least the boom isn't wrapped around the ESC or something
