Default A109 retracts.

I am sure I have seen somewhere that there is a metal upgrade for the retract system on the A109....but cannot find any,,

Any help/links appreciated...Thanks..

These are what I use. Excellent value and they hold up a lot better then stock units.

I'm dealing with the same thing, same question but A109 for Size 700

I already got the electric retracts in, but would like to get better CNC struts rather than the wire struts.

The metal upgrade is for the Air Wolf fuselage.

For the A-109, you want the Great Planes .10 size retracts.
Similar to what FiveZigen recommended from hobbyking.

For the 500 size heli and up, I use these:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=12955

I have them on a RCAerodyne A-109 Coast Guard 500 size and the work great. Just a bit of Dremel work to the existing pad where they mount. Piece of cake!!

I appreciate this is an old thread but I am building an A109 500 size with 4 bladed head.

What retracts beyong the coathanger wire does anyone recommend.

I used the link to Hobby king above but the products numbers have changed since the post in 2011, so I was wondering what the equivalent is today.

Many thanks for any help

Matt
