no its m2 tappered into the grips. 2 of them seems enough to me per grip. Its really easy to do.

You've probably figured it out by now, but I put my Rx pack under the saddle packs, and I put my FBL upside down under the tail boom. My Rx sits at the rear of the bottom plate (behind the saddle packs), so the wiring is pretty straightforward. More than happy to send pictures if you want.

I appreciate the recommendation. I ended up putting it in the front between the motor and the ESC. It seats there perfectly.

It is a bit tight with the fan installed, but it does go on. I took the fan off to see if it would stay cool enough without it, and it did. So I left it off to give more clearance.
