Small tool holder
Right now I have a small canvas bag that has all of my heli tools in it. I want something with a bit more organization but is still small. The tool cases that come with the driver sets are nice, but I have other things that I want to add to them like pliers, angle cutters, ball link reamers, ESC programming card, etc.
What do you use? Please share.

I grabbed one of these and have been using it for a few years now.
http://www.helidirect.com/align-tool...-hot00001.html Its just an empty box, but is rubber lined at the bottom. Works out well for me as a field tool kit with hex drivers, ball link pliers, loc tite, cutters, etc... Everything else I looked at was either too big or too small for me to bother with.

I have tried many organizers over the years for my workshop but I have found that it requires too much discipline to really stay organized with them.
Now I have picked 3 long plastic containers about 3 X 8 and when I am working I throw all my pliers being used in one, all my screwdrivers type tools in the other and all miscellaneous in the other. I call it organized mess and it works very well for me. At the field I use a large fishing tool box to have everything. See next post

A small tackle box might be the ticket. I'm think that if I want small I can't have individual tool holders. I like the white plastic containers, but want just one to hold everything. A tackle box might just be the ticket.
Thanks

I did the tackle box for a while, but even with a smaller one, it was bigger than I wanted and found myself leaving it behind more often than bringing it. The little Align box comes along every trip.

I have a C.K Magma Technician's Rucksack Plus. It is designed for electricians and works perfectly for RC.
Where to get it? Unfortunately it isn't available for sale in the US. It cost me $100 USD shipped from the UK from www.amazon.co.uk and it took about 10 days to arrive. I realize this isn't going to carry any nitro fuel but, if you decide to just hold everything else in a backpack and then carry the gallon of nitro (with pump attached) separate, this would work great. |

Where did you get yours? It looks like the Home Depot one that Geena has is no longer in stock.

Yes Home Depot, These are slick Tech. boxes and what you see in Geena's post is the real deal. I would order one or wait till they get them back in stock.

Found one on clearance at Home Depot. Not as small as I really wanted, but I jumped in anyway. I've moved a bunch of spare parts and building supplies into it. That may tempt me to do some work at the field though.
Thanks guys.
