Default 6s Setup Question 2221-2010

I've searched around and found some threads on 6s setups, but I'm still a little fuzzy.

I'm converting one of my 450s to 6s. I'm expecting a Scorpion 2221-2010kv motor on monday and a couple of pulse 1300mah 6s batteries.

I really want this to be just a drop in. So my intention is to use the standard straight gear and pinion.

So from what I read, I can use the 2221-2010kv with a 13T pinion and be good with around 3200rpm headspeed.

I have 2 questions: 1. What kind of flight time can I expect (I'm getting 4:10 now on 3s), and 2. Do I have to worry about stripping the stock gear with this motor and a 13t?

I apologize in advance if these questions are answered somewhere else on the forum, but they're simple enough and I just want specific answers before I install it, so in case something has to be changed, I can do it all at one time.

Thanks.

Assuming you are using 3s 2200mah packs, you should certainly expect longer flight times because 1300mah 6s packs are equivalent to 2600mah 3s packs, not to mention 6s is generally more efficient, and the power consumption should not increase too much as long as you run the same pitch and headspeed. About gear stripping, I'm fairly certain the 2221-2010 won't strip the mod .5 150t gear, but if it does, you can try the black version, or the slant versions.
