***DX6i RECALL***
Spektrum has issued a recall for 15K transmitters. Something about bad stick potentiometers. Check here to see if you're affected.
Apparently, listening to the chatter on other forums, a couple people have been hurt when their radio stopped responding correctly!

I know Spektrum did so towards the end of February but upon doing a quick search here I saw very little in the way of an announcement or even much talk of the subject.

just thought id post saying that i got my tx back in about 3 weeks along with a 6100 rx for the troubles. Now thats customer service . Although it was Spektrum's fault, the fact that they returned my tx so quickly (considering how many have had to be sent in) and gave me a free receiver says volumes about this company

Yeah, my rudder (yaw) axis potentiometer was soldered poorly and had a wire fray that was shorting occasionally but I fixed it myself. Others seemed to have problems with the internals of the pots themselves.

Just google the dx6i you'll find many listings as well as instructions on how to do a check if you have any questions. date codes 807E, 808E, 809E, 810E, 811E, 812E, and 901E. This can be found in the battery cover. If you have any questions, you can call us at 877-504-0233 = Horizon Hobby. Some of the 807E are okay when tested. Here's a link. http://www.spektrumrc.com/Articles/...?ArticleID=1818
