Yeah, fair enough, but I thought it couldn't hurt to pick it right out of the manual, word for word, so there could be no misunderstanding, just on the off chance that this is not what Sven is doing.

Hi sutty

coming back to receiver menu.
You press setup button and power receiver at same time.
Led A flashes. You choose standard receiver.
Then press setup button shortly. All yellow LED's flash.
How do you move now until point N?
You have to exit here.

If that's what you're doing, then that might explain it. I don't know how you move on, but each step much be gone through, according to the manual.

Let me reference the manual for V3, as the one for V4 is just an addendum for the new features.

I can't tell you directly because I don't have a pro, but I do know even on the standard unit you can move on, if it were necessary, and on some Rx choices it is.

Sec.

I think you hold down the button, until the next menu light comes on. I shall read on and confirm.

No, not that. I will try it on my test set-up. Once you have light off for default receiver, which you do by holding it down a long time, until it cycles to off, I think you just then press the button 'shortly', and then again and again.

Sorry about the confusion. Those who have the pro should probably chime in.

But what I posted was from the manual, so if you aren't going through to N, it looks pretty clear it will not be active.

Back in a mo.

Cheers

Sutty

Well I tested with a std Rx, and as you say there is no way to move on. As soon as you press the button shortly, to confirm the choice of no light, all the lights flash, and you have to power off, and the setting is saved. Maybe that only refers to single line Rxs, which is the recommended set-up for attitude control, but I know it's meant to work with the gain channel for standard Rxs.

Sorry if that confused, but I've read that a number of times now, and it says what it says.

You never can get to N, with a std Rx, and the old MB, so I doubt it will be different. It even says that you cannot enter the letters B onwards, once you choose std Rx, as channel assignment is unecessary, as you just plug your leads in where you want them to be.

To get into the receiver menu press the button on the MICROBEAST and hold it down while you turn on
the receiver power supply. The yellow menu LED A should now be flashing instantly. Release the
button. The color and state of the Status-LED gives you information about which type of receiver/
transmission protocol is currently selected
In order to change the type, press and hold the button for about 2 seconds. The Status-LED will light in
the next color and flash eventually. Repeat this as many times as required until the Status-LED matches
your receiver type (V3 manuel)

Yes, this isn't the issue. Once you choose 'light off' standard Rx, then when you confirm that, by pressing the button 'shortly', as described in the V3 manual, all lights flash, so how can you go through to all the other menu steps, as it advises you to do in the V4 manual. It isn't possible.

Once you press 'shortly', and all lights flash, to say the Rx type is stored, as a standard Rx, the only thing you can do is turn off. Nothing else works.

Hi sutty and trexpro

The key point is the exit from receiver menu if you have chosen standard receiver.
You press shortly the setup button and all yellow LED's flash.
Everything else is now blocked you have to exit.

Manual for V4.0 says move to Led N to save and exit.
That's not possible because with chosen standard receiver all yellow LED's flash endless unless you power off.

That's probably the bug. You cannot save standard receiver on V4.0.
Attitude control will not enable.

That is strange Sven, the default setting is standard rx!
Do you have studioX? If so you can hook it up and see if you can enabled in studioX I have never had a defective BeastX

By the way you have a plus pro edition and not a upgrade mbx plus, so it's not necessary to go pass through the hole reciever setup
