LOL, yeah I was just practicing turns and FFF. I'm really not that great at just banking a turn yet (like you can do with a 120SR very easily).. and need a lit of practice still. It's not as easy as it looks!

I want to get to the point where I can do tight highly banked circles, but I always seem to bail as soon as the heli is pointing back at me for some reason, LOL. Mental block I think.

I live in upstate, kind of south central upstate NY near PA border.. Elmira, Corning area. Nice place.. especially compared to Buffalo where I lived for about 9 years..


I have never actually flown anywhere where there wasn't a bunch of trees around. I think I need to drive down the road to a big open park area that is nearby, I think I could practice more without worrying about a wall of trees all the time. It's nice to have that space right outside my front door though for sure.

My third or fourth flight ever doing flips and rolls.
I've had better flights - I was a little wild. After camera batt wore out I had a couple more flights w/o crashing where I did more flips and more rolls and tighter too.. oh well.

Edited most of both flights out, just showing flips and rolls and a little bit of the rest of flight. Kinda windy.. Shows rigged helmet cam at end.

I too practiced some low inverted hovers! Although I struggled to stay in front of my camera. Oh yeah, and my camera man was a shoe.
