Default Which 700 size heli should I buy?

Ok, so I have an Align 500/600esp/600pro/700e. I want another 90 size bird but was looking for some feedback from those who have different 700 size birds. I really like the 7hv which is at the top of my list, but I also like the raptor e720, the Aurora 90e, the Rave ENV. Each of course will be compared to my 700e which is a great bird and I love the way it flies, but lets be real. You can never have to many birds. Thats an oxymoron.

Synergy E7, MinAir Whiplash.

7HV is at the top of my list also, love the head on my 6HV.

E7 or 7HV. The ENV is a really cool heli but the ballistic is coming out soon so I wouldn't get one for electric.

Personally I would wait for the Rave Ballistic, if you are talking electric. I have an ENV nitro now and I love it plus no one can come close to the level of support CYE provides.

Yea is electric for me all day. I like the ENV, that's number 2 on the list. I forgot all about the whiplash until another poster reminded me. After seeing the demonstration video on youtube a while back, I liked that one as well.

For the money, the Compass has the others beat by far. Otherwise you have to pick a category:

Boutique: TDR, Aurora, Srimok, Banshee, Goblin, Diabolo, Shape
Mainstream: Synergy E7, Whiplash, Ballistic/ENV, 7HV, Raptor, Align 700E, Gaui X7
Other: JR, Hirobo, Bergen, etc.

It depends on your flying style, price range, need for parts, and so on. My choice was the TDR, and nothing that I've seen in person or online since has appealed to me more. I absolutely love it.

Good luck with your choice,
Daniel

I wouldn't really call the Avant a boutique heli it should be with the "mainstream" ones.

I got in line for a TDR based on the engineering and the fact that most TDR owners own an assortment of other Helis consisting of basically every other heli out there and they all rate the TDR as the ONE.

Also after flying the TDR model in the Phoenix flight simulator I was amazed at how well it flew compared to every other model out there. I've been told it is actually much better in real life.

So I'm in a waiting pattern hoping everything I've heard is true.

They would sell one to every single RC helicopter flier out there at that price . Seriously though I might end up going this route eventually. I love the design.

None of the Heli's in your list even makes my short list.

If I had to choose today. Would be E7, great support, direct to swash, light.
Whiplash, not sure, looks like another Nitro design with Electic afterthought.
700E with CHP DL Frames, direct to swash, light.

If I were looking to buy a different 700 right now it would either be the Synergy E7 or MA Whiplash.
