Default She's ready to fly.

Set the Neo & V control up with the help of my mate today. ( new to v bar )

So so easy to do, didn't get chance to test due to horrendous wind and rain, looking like tomorrow at work for that.

Quick tidy of my tail servo lead and esc leads and it's ready for the season ahead 👍

Outstanding job, Heathy! We can't wait to hear the results of your Maiden flight.

I do have one thing for you to keep in mind, though. Because you're using a Kontronik ESC, you might want to invest in the heat sink. One other person here in the States uses a Kontronik and experienced cut outs until he installed the ESC heat sink. It's just something to keep in mind, sir!

In the meantime, enjoy your new helicopter and have a great maiden flight! Your EXO looks super clean!!! Have fun!

Scott

I'll bear that in mind Scott. It's the jive 100 lv. I do have a spare 120hv and 80hv both with heat sinks should it be a problem. I ran this esc in a goblin 500 for a year without issue but that did have a cut out in the lower part of the canopy. I plan to fly this machine at lowish head speeds too.

Ok... so maiden was this morning at work to take advantage of the low wind. Straight into a solid hover blade tracking bob on... my links were exactly as the manual and my cyclic links actually came Pre sized, I did nothing more to them.

Using my base settings in neo forward and reverse flips and aileron rolls stationary were very tight.

Tic tocs also solid.

I didn't do much in the way of forward flight as only had the one pack with me today

Motor ( rage ) and esc both came down cool to the touch too.

I can tell this heli is going to be a lot of fun and very dependable going on it's simplicity in design and parts quality.

Kudos once again to Sebastian

Thanks again Scott and guys for imput into my questions during the build.
