Default The lack of push back againt the FAA is disapointing.

The FAA has proven over and over that it holds a grudge. You won't find many businesses or individuals wanting to go on record against them.

I wonder why most people in the board are still mostly talking about FPV setups and less about what they'll do when they're permanently grounded. I remember some modern day Einstein once saying "You're paranoid. They'll never take your FPV away" during the earlier times this issue was discussed.
Well at least our rich legislators are serious about building an utopia where we'll finally be 100% safe, whether in our homes or behind bars.

Default Time is running out, just do it

With 1 day to go, there are 26,530 comments. I had hoped all RCers would have taken the time to write, because this sets a precedent we all don't want. Who knows what other "Interpretations" the FAA will come up with next.

Let your voice be heard!

How true, In addition to being a QX350 flyer I have a private pilot certificate and a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and we have done a pretty good job of pushing back on a lot of issues that would affect us in a negative way. If we as R/C flyer just sit back and let the FAA rule as a they will, we will see rulings that seem to make little sense. For those who may have follow some of the FAA rulings concerning general aviation over the last few years, one might think that the FAA's agenda is to shut us down or at least make it more difficult GA pilots in America. How is the FAA attempting to do this? By creating hoop after hoop for us to have to jump through. The technology that is available to the average Joe or Jane puts the FAA in an arena that they have never been in before, it makes them uncomfortable and they simply do not want to deal with it.
So the easiest solution for them is to shutdown quads, drones, FPV before we even get started.
