450 with SK-GPS.

Under the hood theres a TM1000, RPM sensor, SK power bus and the main ICE 50 ESC, yet still room for the battery.

Behind the motor under the main gear sits a brushed ESC which allows full variable remote control of the LED lighting.

How would you compare the 6hv to the 7hv? I have some interest in the compass models it seems like there is a lot of good feedback on them. Have you had any other 600 and 700 sided helis?

Yep I see the orange on the towel now. Have the same towel but I have never thought to turn it upside down. Mine is not near as clean as yours! Glad to hear about those servos, I have always wondered how good they were.

I wash the heck out of them with detergent and color safe bleach with extra hot water on sanitary mode. They get quite clean. I love those towels.. and the white side is excellent for 130X repairs.. especially at the dome with astroturf when I have to lay on my belly to do repairs! You never lose little screws.

Hi there Mr Spikestabber. How did you find it obeying the mounting distance limits for the GPS? Id like to potentially install on my Mini Titan some day...when i win the lottery

My mini Gremlin....

The SK720 is from one of the first batches back in 2010. It's been thru and hopefully over all the growing pains. This little guy goes wherever I go. The RF6 Sim is below.

My three 720 equipped scale helicopters. The first one is a Jet Ranger with an Align 550EFL inside. The second is one of the first installations of an Align 600EFL Pro in any scale body. They are a bit more common now, but no one had installed one at the time I did this one. Nice flyer. The newest one is the 500MD TOW Defender that also has the GPS installed. That system has been tried on the frame only but the position hold worked perfectly so I could take a snapshot of the frame in the air. It is a highly modified Logo 500 stretch. Take care.

Don

Where it sits the magnetic field strength is about 0.46, so seems to be a good spot. Its an approx -10cm offset from the COG.

My poor ICE50's BEC cannot handle the extra load from the SK-LED/SK-GPS however once the power hungry DS95's start to eat power so I'm currently waiting on a WR Super Mini G2 to arrive. I'm happy the brownout I had last week happened while I was on the ground.

Being a brushless tail servo, it should have minimal electrical noise.
