Default Cheap Blade Holders

Just bought a pair on Pantera 50's and I needed a blade holder for the one I am converting to electric power. It's nothing special but it was simple to do and is really cheap. Basically you purchase a pair of foam sandles in your choice of color at your local Hobby Lobby for 2 bucks. Trace out the shape and cut it out. I used my band saw and scroll saw. The edges also sand real smoth. Purchase the Large pair of sandles since it's just bid enough to cut the part from. Attached is an DXF file of the profile I used to cut the part.

The sandal idea is great! However, the old boxers paints an ugly picture! Why'd you have to go and spoil what was setting up to be a good Saturday evening. Hmmm, I know, a beer! Yeah, that will get me back into a good frame of mind.

Hey now, my boxers are cool. Who says ScoobyDoo is old news? Better have at least 3 beers, on second thought I'll join you.

I have in fact seen those but I'm not going to place a web order for a two dollar part. I was also concerned that a blade holder that would work on a 30 size model might not be tall enough to work on a 50 size chopper. Also for a few minutes of my time I can cut two of these home made blade holders for only 2 bucks.

Just offering an option.

Actually the fits 30 - 90 size works fine on my Bergen Gasser. So a 50 is middle of the road.
