Default Quad Rotor FPV Flight

Still getting my system set up. It's a modified Gaui 330X-S. Still need to set up an outdoor antenna for the control link, for better range, and the OSD. But so far so good.

UPDATE: Latest video

CrazyHeliDude,
which is your setup? Which mods? Could you please give some more info?
I purchased a 330X s recently, and it would be great to be able to use it the way you did.
Thanks a lot

Do you mean you're wanting to use your 330 for FPV flying?

Yes.
I have a flycamone 2 and 3, the 3 has an optional FPV viewer, but I'm not sure it's worth.
Also, I don't know which other options (landing skid, camera mount, etc) to order.
Thanks for your support
Luigi

Awesome. I think my next project is going to be something like this.

I love the 4 guys carrying beer. You could tell they wanted to watch, but they didnt want to look "uncool" in front of everyone for enjoying it so they pretended like it was a normal, everyday thing to have a seagull sized UAV following them home. HA!

Great footage.

Right it would be good know you setup.

You got way high - were you ever afraid you might get too far out and lose signal?

Sorry about the long delay. I'm using a 900MHz system from ReadyMadeRC. This is the package in case you're wondering.

I think they were a bit freaked If it hadn't been for my gf standing on the opposite shore filming, they'd of had no idea what was going on.

At one point I was actually VERY afraid I might lose the signal and was surprised I didn't looking back on it. Not only my TX signal but by video feed as well. But I wanted to push the limits. Was happy all worked well.

Here was the latest vid from the quad when it took a dunk. I had upgraded to a Terminator frame (which I don't like as much as the stock frame flight characteristics) and went for a leisurely fly over the lake .... well almost.
