XTR-Video
Hey guys welll at Toledo I stoped by the reflex booth and checked out the XTR sim. With the models they had setup I got a good feel for the sim and it looks like it will be a sweet setup. It will need some tweeking for each person to really get the feel for it but so far it looks great. I talked with Wolfgang for a bit and he has some really cool updates planned for the sim in the near future.
I should have my sim in a couple weeks to play with more. Wolfgang said he is really relying on user feed back so make sure you send him a email and let him know what ya think when you get one up and running. Chris |

Ya, that was the kicker for me. I watched that video...started up G2...closed it...ordered Reflex from towerhobbies...haven't used G2 since and I'm not even running XTR yet, v4.03 impressed me enough.

The XTR was advertised with $199 US if I am not mistaken.
Apparently this sweet software will be available very soon. I also had a chance to speak with Wolfgang, as per his remarks it is quite a procedure to come up with these sweet virtual flying fields using the latest in high tech camera equipment that technology has to offer today. Many thanks to the developers of Reflex / XTR, keep up the excellent work.

I see Reflex 4 is available from tower, but Reflex 5 seems to be this XTR version you all are referring to. Is a demo available? I've had stability problems with G2 on my Radeon 9700 so I'm looking to test XTR before I buy. Is there an official site with support forums? I've tried www.rc-sim.de but even though I've registered there, the forum isn't allowing me to post...
