Default Your ipinion about the FUSION 50

Hi,

I really want to buy one Outrage FUSION 50 but mu friends disadvised me this brand in particular with regard to the solidity of axes.

What do you think of it? Is the FUSION 50 a good machine which we can trust?

I specify that I do not create this thread to denigrate the model. I create it to inform me, balance the pros and the cons.

I thank you in advance.

If the FUSION 50 becomes mine my future configuration will be the following one:

Servos: Align DS610's and DS650:
ESC : YGE 90 HV
Motor: Scorpion 4025 550 kv
Lipos: 12S 3300 mah 40C
BeastX V3
Blades: RJX 600mm

I have owned my Fusion for several months now and all I can say is WWWOOOWWWW! This heli is a blast to fly and have had zero issues with mine, ZERO. The quality of this product compared to anything else I have owned is second to none.

I guess if you don't want to own a heli that is a hot rod (I have hit 90+ mph several times), that has a ton of power and one that flies like it's on rails then this isn't the heli for you.

You can't go wrong with an Outrage Fusion 50. Trust me. Feel free to check my photo album for build photos of my Fusion. You can see how well the quality of this heli really is.

It's a great heli.. full of really clever features. Just tonight someone said they prefer the Fusion 50 to their 700E. And its a LOT cheaper to repair than any other 600 heli... just compare parts prices before you push 'submit'. I run mine with 2x4000mah Gens Ace packs and a 4025-550... I just love the power and size... and I get 8 mins of flight with that combo!

I love how the packs go in too... and it allows for many sizes of packs... I even flew it with 2 5000mah packs for a while. And before that I even flew it as a 6s heli with 550mm blades.. and that even flew great! I only went to 12s to boost flight times and run 623mm blades to get a big heli feel.

And I like how it can swing 640mm blades stock too.. I might try those next.. it's so close to a 700 yet 1/2 the price.

Just browse this forum and you will see all good stuff and no bad.

One of th best 600 size helis I have had so far. Easy build. Godd price (also for spare parts). Great performance.
I simply like it and sold some of the other brands for this one.
BTW -> Great setup you are looking for.

One of the best helis i have owned. Like it better than my 6HV. And no problem with tailgears, and its a big + with cheap parts.

And the best thing is there is one right now for sale in the electric for sale forum.

It's mine and I hate to part with it as I wanted to build it but the gasser bug has but me hard! I have no room for the electric aspect of this hobby until I get the gasser thing sorted out.

Not quite sure what you mean by
Quote:
solidity of axes.
but all I can say is that each heli has its strengths and weaknesses, the weaknesses in the Fusion 50 identified by some users are in my opinion just minor verses its strengths which are in areas that really matter. The setup you are looking at will give you a seriously enjoyable heli and that is all that matters. The quality of this product is certainly very high. I have not had a single issue at all attributable to the heli itself. I'm not sure what other helis you are looking at but if you go with a Fusion you will get a very enjoyable package and I doubt very much that you will be in the slightest disappointed.

Maybe he means 'axes' as in plural for axis.... like maybe Outrage is the axis of justace, Align is the axis of mediocrity and the clones are the axis of evil and so forth?
Sounds like he was referring to heli politics? Maybe in some way influenced by the recent parts shortages for 550's and G5's and the semi recent departure of Charley from Outrage?

Hi, and thank you for your answers

Sorry for my bad english, "axes" mean shaft (thank you google traductor )

So, Do the fusion 50 has problem with the shafts in terms of solidity compare to align ?

And what about the gears ?

The shafts are good, gears really need to be mod 1 but .8 does work. Overall it's a awesome heli.

Default good heli

I have had mine for a couple of weeks and had terrible luck with it....but the fault was all mine... make sure u set the esc up correctly or u will get 5000 head speed.....and put a good bit of blue or a drop of red threadlock on the bellcrank screw..........but other than it exploding at 5000rpm and a screw coming loose and going full cyclic into the ground (because of me ) it flys great and parts are cheep trust me.....the tt gears are not as bad as everyone seams to think they are and outrage already has a better set now......great heli. just had a couple stupid mistakes with it so far

Best flying 50 size heli I have had or flown so far. Massive amounts of power, exceptionally stable and in all it is a smooth flying heli.

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into a 50 size electric bird.

There are reports of the gears having issues, Outrage has released a new set that will solve the issue. Many of the issues are because of High Gains in our Governors and Flybarless Units. If running the while drive gears front and rear just set the gains by the recommendation from Outrage and you should have no issues. It is highly recommended though to just buy the black gears front and back and not have to be as concerned.

i got a fusion. great heli. easy to build, easy to repair , easy to fly. Enjoy

only small regrets, the availability in France is not very good.
for exemple i waiting since 3w for one small part. I need one grip link for my tail pitch slider....
by the way , we must buy a complete slider assembly, only to obtain these small parts. i hope outrage will sub-divide some packaging. these plastic links are fuses so....

The Fusion 50 is an awesome 50/600 class heli, so much so that I just sold my 600Pro to pick up a backup Fusion... parts are cheap considering the class.. you won't be disappointed
