Just to note - those are NOT the same washers. The ones with the dampers are MUCH thicker and go on the inside of the grips close to the dampers. you will not have any luck using those washers inside the grips next to the thrust bearings.

What happened mate?

I crashed this morning. I've been able to botch it up with some used bits and a couple of new parts from RCBits. I ordered the DFC Head as the used parts are a bit dodge.

Oh nothing, the seller on Ebay sold out and I wanted one. I have a 450 Pro w/Beastx waiting to be built. But I just found a store in Australia too, which had 3 in stock, so I just ordered one.

Bugger. I could have saved 10 bucks and got it sooner than it's going to arrive from the US. I saw the Ebay one and snapped it up. I asked RCBits but I didn't think we would get them here in Aus for a few weeks after the rest of the world.

That's great. They're a great store. Already despatched mine express.

When I first rung they thought I was a hobby store sussing them out. They only received 3 from Align, and they were all gone within 30 minutes of my call. He must be baffled.

Got mine!

Man, the new FBL systems are so easy to set up mechanically. It would be so much easier to start in this hobby now. Instead of 3 sets of links, now there is basically only 1. I find it strange of Align not to supply the thrust bearings and washers, yet include the little washers that go next to the dampners! Anyway, had all of mine already and took advantage to grease my thrust bearings. Really looks cool and solid.
