Bert and bobby can go ahead and jump on the drone bandwagon all they want, their just following the $$$ but I do feel they may also loose some Err "street cred" if you will with the hardcore 3D guys

i DISAGREE fpv racing is tons of fun and cheap to play, you guys need to think outside the box, I fly helis every weekend but this is heka fun.

Can someone legitimize the hate towards quads to me? I understand how the easy flight characteristics can belittle the immense learning curve we've all climbed through (plus "drone" paranoia which can be very annoying), but does that mean we have to hate them? Half the time I show people 3D videos I get the response "....Why does it look like it's crashing?.." anyways. I never flew because of those people though, and it makes me wonder why anyone would. I fly 3D helis because it's fun, challenging, and above all else the camaraderie at clubs an events. This reminds me of the hateful comments I've received for just showing up at plank club with helis in the back of my car. So the whole multi-rotor FPV scene ain't your thing? That's fine and dandy, but it doesn't mean ya have to bash people for wanting to check it out. When someone shows up with one I'm usually over their shoulder bothering them to let me play with it, not scoffing in the distance. Show a little love y'all

Honestly, I don't care for quads anymore than the rest of you. But this is not a "chicken little" moment. We all complain about how stupid some of these new quad users are. Perhaps this could educate a few of them. I would prefer to see this as a teaching moment for smacktalkrc, much like their other teaching moments of the 3d series.

So let's cut them some slack. Despite our lack of interest in quads, there is going to be a lot of folks getting them for christmas.
