Default push rod

Has anyone done anything with the boom push rod assembly?? anything to make the whole set up smoother, less noisy with less vibrations?

I saw a logo 600 this week and really liked how sturdy and vibration free it was - just nice all together.

Anyway, wondering if anyone has done anything to improve it? maybe different rod, or different guides, etc... (pictures would be helpful)

Thanks

I only see guides for velo 50 - couldn't find any for the 90 - does anyone have them installed? Does it help in vibrations and overall smoothness of the rod/tail??

I do, yes they help, measure the OD of your boom and buy the guides to suit. The boom is a standard size, i dont have the pack to tell you which ones

The 50 and 90 boom diameters are the same. I have a set of the Lynx control rod guides on my 50, I had to mod the plastic inserts as the holes were way too large for the 50 control rod. But the 90 control rod is larger and the holes might be large enough (the mod is simple to do anyways).

The v90 guides are longer from boom to pushrod than the 50. Did you modify the balls at either end to make them fit?
I'm going to try the Quick UK carbon pushrod guide for the Trex 700. It is compatible with a 5.5mm carbon rod. Similar to the Logo setup.

I didn't know that the quick uk can fit - that would be an awesome upgrade - please post pictures and comments.
thanks
