Default parallel charge Q 306b

Hey guy I have a question on charging 2 6s 5000mah 22.2 packs on my I charger 306b.

First question I have is win I charge these packs in parallel do I set the mah in the charger settings to 5000?

And my second question is what is the cut off voltage for a 5000mah 6s 22.2 volt pack? And should i double that in the charger settings win charging the 2 packs in parallel?

Thanks for your help

When charging in parallel, you want to add the capacities of your packs together. So in your case, it would be 10,000 mah or 10 Ah. More importantly, make sure that your charge rate is setting accordingly so that you can enjoy faster charging times. Most newer packs can handle 3C or higher, so check to see what yours can handle. At 2C, you would need to set the total charge rate to 20A when charging your two 5000mah packs in parallel.

As for the cut off voltage... It would be 4.2v per cell for charging, and 3.7 - 3.9v per cell when discharging.

Thanks so much seanM I found some info that stated that the cut off voltage for the packs is 25.2V. So if this info is correct should i set the cut off voltage in the 306b to 50.4v.

Only in series charging would you add the voltages together. In parallel, you're only adding the capacities together. So your two 6S 5000mah will become one 6S 1000mah, making the cut-off at 25.2v.
