I dont find the need to reverse any servos in my Tx when I set up HC. However some people, for what ever reason, still seem to do so.
Either they didn't read the instructions properly or possibly they couldn't get the swash to move correctly and instead of changing it in the s/w changed it in their Tx's.

BTW I noticed that Flames set up had the Elev servo (No 3) on the Mixer tab the opposite to all the other files I have. Don't know why yet!

Most likely due to the fact that with the helicommand you switch... pitch servo will become the elevator and the elevator servo becomes the pitch.

Don't think its it as easy as that.
I have 6 files all with the mixer tab the same and just one (Flames) different.

However I dont know if on some of the files Tx servo revese was used.

As I said I never reversed any servo's in his Tx, though I did swap the Pitch and Elev. servo position at the time I installed the interface module..

The original Pitch servo is wired into the interface module as the new Elev. servo, and the original Elev. servo is wired as the new Pitch servo.

But I think you understand that already:o

And you've seen it fly on video

Night, Ian, Somebody is wiring it wrong, probably me. When I set up my first HC I looked at the wiring diagram and was confused. The radio is set to H1, the first columb of the wiring diagram shows a 120 swash and i have a 120 swash. The second columb say's H1 single servo and elevator and pitch get reversed, I also have H1 single servo. So I thought that the first columb is correct for me ( trex 450) the second must be for a mechanical mixing heli. Was I wrong ? I did not swop pitch and elevator and my helis also fly ok. Ivor

Put it down to learning, If I'm wrong I would like somebody to explain it to me. Ivor

That's quite right, the first column is for 120 degree swash.
It's back to the same story of which servo is doing what action. If you disregard this and just use the designation Left servo, Right servo and Rear servo then its quite easy.
You would have then wired (not swopped as such) the Pitch and Elevator servos.
See the pictures:
