Default Anyone Try the Align H60080 CF Main Blades?

Hey Guys -

Has anyone tried the Align H60080 Carbon-Fiber main blades? I'm currently flying the Align 600A CF mains (which are great!) and I just received a set of the H60080 mains from Wes. They are definitely different looking than the 600As, with reflective stickers on the bottom and a waffle-weave pattern on the bottom. They look to be more like the SABS, with a larger airfoil (8.0mm versus 7.5mm) and heavier weights (275g vs 260g).

Specification:
●Shape: Symmetrical wing
●Length:600x54x8.0mm
●Width:12mm
●Shaft Diameter:4mm
●Weight:275g/set
●Sticker x2

I haven't tried the cheaper of the Align CF blades but I really like the more expensive of the two. I have just put on my first pair of Radix blades but I am not liking them as much as those Align blades.

Broken many of these - commonly available here but not the US it seems. Your post sums them up - they're heavier, stiffer and rumoured to be made by SAB - good for auto's plenty of inertia and lift but maybe slow down cyclic somewhat - can't comment on 3D as I'm not in that zone.

I used them both. John is right: More stable flying, less dynamic then the 600A's and they make a lot more noise thanks to the bigger airfoil. Thes blades fly very similar as the Helitec (German) CF blades.
In general these are better for average flying, while the 600A's are better for fast 3D.

I think I have to agree with Bob. After crashing my Align blades, I ordered the Radix (since they're in stock..they're so hard to find). The Align blades seem to have better cyclic performance and auto just as good as the Radix.

Just to be clear on this, Bob and Joe: We are discussing the Align H60080 blades. You guys are talking about the 600 A's. They are quite different in airfoil and in performance, though both being CF.
The 60080's come in a plastic bag, the 600A's in a box.

60080

●Length:600x54x8.0mm
●Width:12mm

60115

Both Carbon fibre - 60115 (the US variety) about AUS$10 more expensive
