Default TT e620 tail servo on boom

Hello,
I have a e620 which was flying good on 8S, but after the battery died of age I switched to 10S due to lack of affordable 8S batteries. The new battery I've chosen is a lot heavier as the old one and I need to move weight towards the back.

Therefore my question: What is the best way to move the tail servo to the boom?

I think that the T-Rex 600 ESP tail servo mount should fit the boom, as both have a 25mm diameter.

My biggest doubt is about the push rod. The current push rod is 2mm and has threads only on one end.
The old TRex 600 ESP push rod should work, but I can only get it with a boom from the local store.

Can I easily cut threads with a 2mm die on the existing push rod and it will be good enough to hold the TT ball links, or should I better try to get a push rod with a threads already on them?

Also, what push rods would be a good fit?

Thanks
Sven

how able take off the X plate in the back and gave some more room for the battery. if you don't like that, just bought a trex servo cage and linkage set. It's not hard to cut thread on metal rod, but it's not that easy to cut it nice and true

Thanks for your reply.

I think to go with the route you suggested to get a Trex 600 linkage kit.

I worry that if I remove the X in the end that the battery cage will be less stable.

Best
