Yes. There are many throttle configurations possible. There has to be a 0% (or less) throttle point somewhere for ESC arming.

When using the Autorotation "bailout", the Castle video recommends:
Normal FM: 0-0-0-0-0
IDLE UP 1: either 30 or 70 or 100% flat
IDLE UP 2: either 30 or 70 or 100% flat
TH: highest % that will not power the motor. (17% in my case)

In this case, Castle recommends arming the ESC in Normal FM.

I do not like this method because you would (1) give up the Normal FM, and (2) if by mistake I flip the FM switch too far back, I would engage "soft start" in flight.

However, there are different throttle curve variations that different pilots feel work best for them.

One variation is having Normal FM be 0-30-30-30-30. Some of the positive attributes of this configuration is that you would be able to (1) arm the ESC, and (2) use the normal flight mode for upright flight. The potential pitfall is that if you bring the throttle/collective too far down, you may engage "soft start", and loose the autorotation bailout.

There are other configuration possibilities, too.
