Default Nitro Style landing gear on the Kasama 90E

Just finished up the parts needed for mounting the nitro style landing gear to a Faifa. I used 2 sets of front legs plus all of the mounting parts/tubes etc..

It required two blocks to be made, the profile/angle was first cut with a Wire EDM machine, then we faced both ends of the part, and then drilled the tapped the holes, the leg mounting holes were drilled in the angled face @ 23.5*

It has a really low stance and actually looks pretty good

Very nice work.

One comment, the silver collars that fit over the skid tubes are supposed to be clamped together and mounted under the carbon part - not one on each side of the carbon. Don't know if that makes sense - check out some pictures.

Ah, yes, thanks for the comment As you can tell in the picture I have not tightened anything up yet, I just figured it went together like the TDR. I will switch them around..

Thanks!

Those aren't going to hold in heavy auito landings - youll have to double-up the carbon or use the wider rear landing gear !

It looks beautiful... but deceptively strong? I'm shuddering at the leverage where the CF attaches the mount blocks.

How much weight saved all up?

They are fairly strong, the one set is all that is needed for this speed machine, I do not plan on doing any fancy autos

They are mostly for looks..
