E820 canopy fits E720?

Does anyone know if the e820 canopy fits e720 without mods?

I think it needs some mount mods for the grommets. If I remember from pics it doesn't use the front clip.

You have to remove the canopy spacer part number pv1602 and also the 2 top screws that go through the lower side frames and replace with M3x18 set screw. You then need the lower canopy mount part number pv0588 which comes with set screws. The E820 still uses the lower plastic clip around the front skid....

I saw that the e820 also yousing the clip under the canopy that my e720 also have so al i have to do is to get the pv0588 part and mount it, then it should fit i saw on one guy that have converted his e720 into the e820 so it should fit if i mounting that part

Edit: NEVER MIND:: Do you know if the Raptor e700 canopy also fits? if i look at the frame and pic it seems that it wwould fit but im not 100%

I will look at mine but the e700 canopy probably too small. I think the 820 canopy has 2 extra posts in the front. The frames are the same so you would probably just need the posts.

Yes i saw that, it`s not fiting but the 820 would fit if i just put the extra 2 canopy clips (or what it called) on my 720. i have only find 1 store that sells the original canopy and it´s not sheep

E820 fits E720/G4 just fine, but you have to add front mounts I believe. I want one for my G4 but they're stupid money at nearly £100!!

Yes i know that, thats bad that it´s so expensive but i will probably buy one this summer beacuse that is so good looking

Check out Fusuno's site. They'll do any design they have on any canopy, so if you find one for a Blade heli for example, they'll spray it onto a blank canopy of another model. Think it comes to just over US$100.

When I get time I'll try to remember. It's fairly simple put esc in external governor mode and set end points on governor 2 tab. Set gear ratio and motor poles.

What about another heli brand canopy? I have 3 of the factory TT canopies and 2 Fusino versions. After 3 years, I'd like to change the look of my 720e. Anyone know if a Synergy or other will work without much butchering required? I don't mind moving grommet holes around but thought I'd ask here before just picking a canopy I like and giving it a shot.

I have seen some people having the Compas 7hv canopy but if they are much modded i don't know
