This thread is old, and the E-Flite 150mAh 45C cells are readily available. I've never tried another brand and only have the old 25C versions to compare them to. But man, these new 45's pack one hell of a punch and it is in my opinion that they are the way to go when it comes to the Nano CPX nowadays.

I can testify to this as I am running a ridiculously power hungry 8.5mm brushed motor and after 100+ flights on EACH of my 6 batteries, 4 of them still work and take a 4.1V charge and give me 4 minute flights. Needless to say, on my next payday I'll be making a trip to my LHS to re-up on them. The other two are dead, I confirmed that with my multimeter last night, but with my setup, that was inevitable.

Yeah, the 45C's are way better than the 25's.
I've had good luck with the 45's in The Spawn.

My LHS also stocks Lectron 180 mAh, and I really like how they don't seem so punchy at the start and then dwindle away. They seem to have a flatter power output curve.

All, thanks for the replies. I'm currently doing some discharge testing on some of these batteries. Most of them are used so this is one way for me to weed out the weak ones. I'm planning to buy some new batteries soon and I'll test those too. The only new batteries I have on hand are the Turnigy nano tech 160mah 25-40c and they've been sitting for several months as I haven't even taken them fun their package. They shouldn't been at storage voltage, though.

Yes, new batteries come with only a partial charge. AKA storage charge. It's funny because back in my days of mall-copters, the boxes usually read "Comes partially charged so you can fly immediately" LOL. Terrible advice as that's probably the best thing you can do to ruin your battery. I think that wording is a sort of a scam to get people to buy even more of those cheapo coax's when they meet a premature death.
