Default max watts for icharger 306b on 12V DC charging 6S

With this setup, I should be getting about 500W output, right?

When I charge a 6S 1350mah pack, with a setting of 3.0A, I don't see that the charger even charges at 2.0A. It takes about 35-40 minutes to charge the pack (from a discharge level of ~3.75 V/cell).

Here are some of my settings:

Bal. Speed: FAST
Bal. Trickle: OFF
Li Balance: ALWAYS
Input limit: 50.0A
Cut-Off: 12.1V
Watt Limit (W)
CHG: AUTO
DCHG: 60

Maybe I need to change some settings to get the charging amps up?

I powered mine is 24v (dual deep cycles) and I'm pretty sure I got the the full 30A I don't recall off now (I use the 4010duo today) but input voltage is crucial. Power leads are important as well.. I clamp on to my deep cycles with a 8awg jumper cable with EC5 soldered on one end. Once when I was using 10 or 12 awg wire, the wire got too hot and I couldn't get as many charging amps out.

I would lower your supply voltage cut-off. Try 10v and see if that helps.

Dropping the cut-off to 10V did the trick! Got 4A charging right from the start of charging.

Toggling the display during charging showed input voltage was less than 12.1 (but greater than 12.0) which was the original cut-off value. I think the charger was limiting the charge current so as to keep input battery >12.1

I'm going to play around with bumping the cut-off up to 11.5V to 12.0V to see if I still get 4A.

Thanks Gregor99 and Slyster. You guys are the helifreak charging experts!

If the power supply has its own protections, except for current limiting, I wouldn't worry about setting it in the charger. Server supplies all have several protection thresholds and will trip into standby if you exceed them. Many hobby grade supplies do not so you have use the charger settings to protect the supply.
