Default 550 Shopping list

Are you guys able to fit the 6s 5000mah HK packs on your 550s? I'm looking to order everything for a 550 setup this week but have seen the frame spacing is 47mm but the HK packs all have a minimum dimension of 49mm or 50mm. In the images I've seen it seems the battery is pushed back between the frames a little bit, I'm assuming this is where the pack needs to sit for a proper CG.

Thanks in advance for your help.

My Rhino 4900mAh 25C fits between the frames but doesn't really need to for good COG.

My Zippy 5000mAh 25C does not fit between the frames and gets good COG about 1/4" below that part of the frame.

Thanks Wolfpackin, I really appreciate the help. I just ordered the 550 combo from my LHS today. Based on the posts of yours I've read it seems your happy with the 550, any input for me as I get ready to build mine?

Thanks for the response philipfrank, it's good to know other people have worked through some of these basics already.
