i saw this heli at IRCHA. looked really nice. i have a TSA 700N. its a great flying heli and sooooo trouble free. if the gasser is anything like the rest of the TSA line it should be a winner.

3 months . . . . .shoot I've seen prototypes at IRCHA for the last two years.

Nothing unusual going on, models been flown many times. One of the prototype parts custom machined for this model has too much runout in it. At lower "break-in" speeds it didn't matter. At performance speeds it did. Just waiting for a replacement part.

how do you make a custom part with accessive runout? I machine parts all the time, and custom stuff has zero runout if the machining process was done by hand (not CNC) and checked prior to leaving the shop.

come on Carey, if the darn thing is dead, just say so...

No offence guys, but I’ve moved on with waiting for this heli! Too many other helis to fly. So if I have to wait, I’ll wait for the Agile 7.2 conversion! I own the electric version and it is one awesome heli. My Synergy N7 flies a lot like the Agile...

What kind of engine will be used in this kit? PUH or RC?
I saw PUH in some old photos (from year 2012?). Is it so?

TRM has 300 PUH engine? I saw only 26cc engine in PUH style.

Next option is BH Hanson 26 or 30
And HWC 26 or 29...

Do you have any news about this heli (date of release, price of the kit,...)?

Still no update about release?

One additional question: does the heli designed for 231/26 or for 29/30 cc engine?

I think that 26 and 29 have different crankshaft output (but not sure), is it so?
Century has a different fan hub for radical, when you want to use 29cc...

Or is this not a problem of TSA :-)?

Default Not sure about TRM puh offering

But Hanson has a 26 or a 27 long stroke and also a 30 long stroke PUH or RC engine format.

Hey Roman

I have installed both g 26 and g300 puh engines, both were TRM. There were no special adapters required, they both bolted right in.

I can't speak for TSA in terms of the model release however when they do I will carry a TRM VX 300 Special Edition PUH engine to accompany it.

Do you have any news about the TSA Gasser?
Any photos, videos or conclusion from testing (what gear ratio, blades and RPM you fly)?

I saw some old photos and some new ones and it seems that the fan shround was redesigned for bigger fan, is it so?

I found one on freakware.de (TSA distributor), that they have a category Infusion 700G. No heli is available nor spareparts, but some sparepats were already inserted in the system.

I saw there, that they have 120T and 16/17T gear ratio. What would be standard one (120/16 seems for very low head speed /or looong blades/)?

Seems that launch time is coming :-)?

I don't have any additional updates from TSA at this point

I have all the documentation from the full build experience of the model however I expect there to be some changes in the engine mounting and cooling system so I have not posted any of it.

The TRM PUH engines have the same happy spot as the RC versions which is in the 14-15K RPM range. With the std gearing the head speed is around 2000 rpm which the model seems happy with

actually the head feel reminds me of the Xcell quite a bit,

Unfortunately I do not have any idea when or if the model will be formally released.

They've been showing prototypes since at least 2009.

Default Why not?

When I saw a new post in this topic, I thought that the kit is in the market...

Could you share, why do you think that it will not come out :-)?

Default TSA gasser

I was told that Nigel is into a whole bunch of other things and his mind is really not as much on the heli business aspect of it. He only comes on runryder or this forum maybe once every few months and when I PM him it could be months before I get a reply. He told me one time he was working on autonomous heli stuff and would be in touch for generators when he needed them but I never heard back from that either, I think he may be stretched in many directions.
