Congratulations and welcome aboard!

Flying it outdoors is definitely fun, but while learning it's best to find a nice large INDOOR room with nothing in the way... like a gym, etc. ANY wind can make the 120SR a real challenge to fly, and at 4 mph+ winds, it can become uncontrollable... more so if gusty.

Best regards,

John

I've found the same thing: flies well outside on a calm day - very durable, low cost, easy and relaxing heli to fly. But its best left indoors if there is any wind outside at all. I've tried flying mine in the yard in light winds, only to have a slight gust pick it up and toss it on the roof (loss track of how many times I had to climb up there and toss it down onto the grass).

Bought mine three years ago as my first FP heli after a brief flirtation with a co-axial. The 120 SR really hooked me, and was followed up with 2 mSRs and an mSR X.
