First read the "What Charger" thread and then watch my video for my ultimate solution after years of exploration.

I'm no electrical engineer, and had no idea what I was getting into what I bought a handful of tiny little 2S batteries for my 130X. I bought a PowerLab 6 (FMA), with the hopes that it will serve me in this hobby well into the future.

From a beginner's point of view (I just want to charge a lot of batteries, quick and reliable!) I love it. It's small and easy. I paid the extra $30 for the computer connection, and it gives me all the info I could ever need. I created a heap of presets for my different batteries, and made a preset for each charging mode I wanted (fast charge, accurate charge, and storage charge.) Now it's as easy as plugging it into my car, choosing the preset for the battery brand and charge mode, and then telling the PL6 how many batteries I have connected to the Parallel Charge board. Easy! I don't have anything to copare it to, but I love it and would recommend it.

Great feedback. I love the preset flexibility and telling the charger how many packs are in parallel. It reduces the number of presets required. Also it reports the average mAh put back into each pack. Not an exact number, but the average is usually all you need when you are cycling through packs of the same size, flown for the same duration.
