Default 450 frame stiffeners on 450 pro?

Will this work? I swear I saw a picture of someone's 450 pro with the red 450l motor mount stiffeners on but I can't find it. Has anyone done this before?

The Pro and "L" are completely different frames. Are you just looking for bling?

I am just trying to use the two center holes for the plate itself. See, the kde direct motor mount I have is nice but it deforms the frame a bit.
http://www.kdedirect.com/collections...cts/at450p-umm
When using a really large pinion, the mount is pushed forward so much that the rails on the side aren't long enough, and the bolt kind of folds the frame over the edge of the motor mount. I am using washers to offset this a bit, but it would be better If I can use this reinforcement plate on the outside of the frame to distribute the clamp pressure over the length of the motor mount's clamp rail. I know the top hole and the bottom hole won't have anything to bolt onto, but are the two motor mount holes spaced the same as the motor mount on the 450 pro?

Why not just use a couple pieces of scrap carbon fiber? I keep crashed up frames just for that purpose. A lot of times you can get exact matching hole spaces and make doublers out of the frame with a little bit of cutting and grinding. I've had a plate over the top of a broken 450 frame just above the motor mount for years and never needed to replace the frames with how strong it is. Didn't glue it or anything. Just ran a straight piece along the motor mount homes and filed of the ends. Almost loved like it was supposed to be that way all along.

I got the frame braces and they do in fact fit on a 450 pro.

Just two. That's all I needed it for. Unless you have a kde or similar motor mount its absolutely useless but it does look cool with mks or kst servos.

KDE Direct got three to work. ( they shaved off the last hole that didn't work ) Two is just the same as it was to begin with. If you think about it, its the holes that don't line up that actually brace and support the motor mount from twisting from the torque.

I'm guessing KDE modified a post to run through the frame for that third support. Thats how it works on the 450L. You'd just need to find a post that can bridge the brace.

In theory you could do the same for the last support... but the ESC is mounted under that tray. And we all know how tight things are already.

I actually did this for convenience, not stiffness. The problem had to do with the kde mount and my torqueing. It was too easy to overtorque and dent the inside of the frame from the way the kde mount was, and this brace allows me to tighten the screws as much as I like without issue.
